I am always drawn to interesting art, so it's not surprise that I like the work of Gregory Jacobsen. I can see some prude finding the paintings twisted and/or morbid, but I find them quite beautiful. The details keep me going back for another peek...in case I missed some important piece to the visual.

Peter Doherty will be releasing his solo album 'Grace/Wastelands' in the next few weeks. I am really enjoying the first single ‘Last of The English Roses’, so I have high hopes for the album.

Let's talk a bit about horror films. They have always been a fave of mine, although Phantasm scared the shit out of me, but I got over the feeling of always looking under the bed before I could even think of going to sleep...until Candyman. I think one of the things that creeped me out so bad, is the fact that we used to play a similar "game" called Bloody Mary, which also freaked me out. It's all fun and games until some dead bitch comes to getcha! I remember seeing this film with some co-workers and we had a loudspeaker at work and they would announce over the speaker that I had a call. Well, I would pick up the line only to hear one of those psychos say "Candyman, Candyman, Candyman" in a deep and creepy Tony Todd "Candyman" voice. I suppose that's what happens when you work with maniacs. "It was always you Helen..."
