"Oooh Wee Baby"

Well, it seems today is Valentine's Day. It's weird because this is the first time I've been single in a decade and it's fucking fantastic to not be bothered with the nonsense. For those of you who choose to feed the madness, I have decided to give you an aural goody. The song I've chosen is by the legendary Otis Redding and it contains one of my all time favorite lines "oooh wee baby", which I use way too often both in conversation and just talking to myself (usually I delete the "baby" part, depending upon the conversation/situation).

Nothing beats a night of drinking and dancing. I am digging Thunderheist so hardcore. The songs have a nice flow and grooving beats, served up with the lyrics of clublife. This video looks simple, then you catch glimpses of talons and beak, then you have a second of "what the fuckness" and you are then sucked in for the remainder. "oooh wee baby"

I cannot go without mentioning how sad we were when we heard about the death of Lux Interior. I first saw The Cramps as teenager and it blew my motherfucking mind. Seeing the absolute rawness and intensity of his performance was like witnessing a rock n roll ritual and those performances will be something I will never forget. Ever. I will not post a Cramps song, but I will post a song they deemed worthy of covering. Thanks Lux!
